The 2025 Symposium on Technological Innovation in Ecological Environmental Functional Materials, organized by the Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences in collaboration with Tsinghua University and other research institutions, will be held in Beijing from April 18th, 2025 to April 20th, 2025. As a leading enterprise in the environmental protection sector, Zhejiang TUNA Environmental Science & Technology Co., Ltd. will actively participate in the event, showcasing its excellence in industry exchanges.
The symposium, themed "Innovation in Ecological Environmental Functional Materials Leading High-Quality Development of Green and Low-Carbon Industries," will feature specialized sessions focusing on six core areas, including cutting-edge topics in atmospheric, water, and soil pollution control. A dedicated session for young scientists will be held to support the development of early-career researchers.
Dr. Xinquan Cheng, Deputy Chief Engineer of the Group, presented an oral report titled "Integrated Coal Gas Hydrolysis and Fine Desulfurization Technology" at the Young Scholars Forum. Dr. Cheng systematically analyzed how this technology achieves the green conversion of harmful components in coal gas through efficient catalytic reactions, significantly reducing construction and operational costs. His presentation, focusing on the structural optimization of hydrolysis catalysts, energy efficiency improvements, and industrial applications, innovatively proposed integrated hydrolysis catalytic technology. This breakthrough has revolutionized coal gas fine desulfurization technology, garnering significant attention from attending experts.
This symposium showcased TUNA's advancements in coal gas desulfurization technology and fostered interdisciplinary exchange, offering new perspectives on green and low-carbon technology pathways. Dr.Xinquan Cheng's presentation further validated the potential of integrated structural technology in complex pollution control scenarios, solidifying the technical foundation for future industry-academia-research collaborations.
TUNA will continue to cultivate innovation in environmental protection technology. Leveraging high-level academic exchange platforms to enhance cross-disciplinary collaboration, we aim to facilitate the conversion of technological achievements in the field of ecological environmental functional materials, thereby contributing to the realization of the "dual carbon" objectives.
